Old Freemen - Our alumni

Everyone automatically becomes an ‘Old Freeman’ when they leave Freemen’s.

Our Old Freemen are involved in many aspects of school life that benefit our pupils including careers talks, workshops or to chat to current pupils about life after Freemen’s. Old Freemen are invited back to School for events and activities helping them to keep in touch with the School, maintain and renew old friendships. Once pupils become an ‘Old Freeman’ they are always welcome back to school and we would love to hear your news.

We've just launched our brand new alumni magazine - Freemen's Calling, please click here to read it.

Some of our Old Freemen include:

  • Actor Warwick Davies (Class of 1986)
  • Oscar nominated actor Andrew Garfield (Class of 2001)
  • International contemporary Bristish artist Gavin Turk (Class of 1983)
  • Surrey cricketer Rory Burns (Class of 2008)
  • World-class and Paralympics double bronze medalist GB sailor Alexandra Rickham (Class of 2000)
  • Paralympics GB basketball player Natasha Davies (Class of 2009)
  • Musician Joe Strummer, singer and guitarist with The Clash (Class of 1969)
  • English National Badminton Men's Singles Champion and British Olympian Anders Nielsen (Class of 1985)

The Development Office manages our alumni network and we are keen to help Old Freemen keep in touch with each other and to encourage more Old Freemen's events, either at the School or elsewhere.
