Great Results in Surrey Schools' Individual Swimming

Freemen's swimmers compete in Surrey Schools' Swimming Association Secondary Schools Individual Championships 2018.

On Saturday 20 January, against a strong field of competitors, Freemen's competed in the 100m individual races and 200m individual medley races in both the Junior and Intermediate age groups. We had some fantastic results including: I. Fakkel - 1st in the Intermediate 100m breaststroke;  J. Lawrence - 3rd in the Intermediate 100m Freestyle and C. Fakkel - 1st in the Junior 100m Freestyle.

Z. Agius came 7th (200m Individual Medley) , K. Bunyard came 9th (100m Breaststroke), E. Hartley came 8th (100m Butterfly), A. Hartley came 10th (100m Backstroke), G. Teale came 12th (100m Backstroke), and D. Bowes came 14th (200m Individual Medley).

The Intermediate Girls came second in their section and overall the Juniors and Intermediates combined came 9th overall. Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed in this event!
