Who are the Admissions Team?

We are small, but perfectly formed Admissions Team. We thought we would introduce ourselves, so you know who you are talking to.

Jodi, Jason and Niki

jason harrison-miles, director of marketing and admissions

Jason joined Freemen’s in February 2016 and has quickly embarked upon streamlining the school’s admissions process to make it both easier and more transparent for parents. He is also responsible for raising the profile of the school, enhancing the school’s various communication channels and – through his wider team – enriching relationships with alumni and the community. Jason is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Jason started his career in education teaching English in Europe and then Japan, where he discovered a talent for marketing. He has since worked in admissions, fundraising and marketing roles in a variety of education establishments including independent schools, universities and charities.

In his spare time, Jason bakes (a lot) and is a broadcast playwright.

 jodi-lynne shalgosky, admissions officer

Jodi has been at Freemen’s since 2013. Jodi organises the entrance examinations and will guide you through the whole process from sending your invite to sending your offer letter.

Jodi understands what parents are going through as she has experienced the Freemen’s Admissions Journey herself from the other side, when her son joined the school.

 nicola navamani, admissions assistant

Niki joined the team at Freemen’s at the start of 2016 and is the first point of contact for all admissions enquiries. She also runs Freemen’s Fun days.

Niki began her career by training and working as a Registered General Nurse in a leading London teaching hospital. After several years in healthcare she returned to university to study Law and embarked on a new career as a solicitor in a local law firm.

After taking a career break to raise her two children, she returned to healthcare as a part time clinic manager and counsellor. She enjoyed the organisational and client facing aspect of this work which led her to join the admissions team at the School.

In her spare time Niki enjoys cooking for family and friends, is a keen gardener and has an interest in genealogy.
