Cantabile Put On The Ritz

The Upper 3 and Lower 4 choir were privileged to perform during afternoon tea at The Ritz Hotel in London.

Pupils from the School's Cantabile Choir were invited, for the third consecutive year, to perform a range of festive tunes at the world-renowned Ritz Hotel in London. The pupils, conducted by Ida Ashworth, sang a number of Christmas carols including Once in Royal David's City, which featured a beautiful solo by Lower 4 pupil Emma Horner-Long, and concluded their performance with Defying Gravity from the popular west-end musical Wicked.

The carols certainly got everyone in the festive spirit with one parent saying of the event:

"Today was amazing and we feel blessed to have been able to enjoy this experience. It was magical - a day we will never forget."
