Lunchtime Music Recitals
As of January 2020 the music department will be hosting a lunchtime recital series in the foyer of the music schools. This will involve a wide variety of performances from the students and will take place most Fridays at 1.20pm.
Performances from our talented pupils so far have included:
- Muzio Clementi - Sonata in F Minor, op.13, no.6
- Frédéric Chopin - Nocturne in G Minor, op. 37, no.1
- Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano Sonata no. 8 in C Minor, op. 13, “Pathétique”
- Ludovico Einaudi - I Giorni
- Jules Massenet – Mélodie (performed on Double Bass)
- Joseph Haydn – Violin Concerto no. 4 in G Major, mvt. 1
- Camille Saint-Saëns – Sonata for Oboe, op.166, mvt. 2
- Erik Satie – Je Te Veux
- Lin-Manuel Miranda – Burn
