Celebrating 100 Years at Ashtead Park

In 1926, City of London Freemen’s School moved from its original home in Brixton to the beautiful surroundings of Ashtead Park. Since then, generations of pupils have flourished here—learning, growing, and forming lifelong memories.

Now, as we begin the 2025/26 academic year, we are proud to mark 100 years at Ashtead Park with a year-long programme of celebration. This centenary is a moment to reflect on our rich heritage and the values that have shaped Freemen’s, while also looking ahead to the future we are building together.

A Year of Celebration

Our centenary celebrations began with a flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of term, and will continue throughout the academic year and into December 2026. We have a wide range of events and activities planned for pupils, parents, alumni, and the wider Freemen’s community.

We look forward to sharing this historic moment with you and hope you will join us in celebrating Freemen’s past, present, and future.
