Bethan Roberts: "Don't stress out"

Bethan Roberts gained 2 A* in History and English Literature and an A in Government and Politics

"Don't stress out," advises Bethan Roberts to the next year of students about to embark on their A Levels. "Know what you need to do and don't overwhelm yourself with tasks and information, just keep cutting them down as you go through the year."

Bethan should know. She has just received excellent A Level results herself and  is really excited about securing her place at Oxford University to study History. "It is a good place to study History," she adds.

She has enjoyed her Sixth Form experience. "It was more analytical than GCSE and I was able to focus more on what I liked: humanities."

Bethan joined Freemen's in Upper 3, so the move to Oxford will be a change: "Freemen's is a nice place with good subjects and teachers, but I will miss my friends."
