The English National Cross Country Championships were held at a challenging Wollaton Park course in Nottingham last weekend .  With 648 of the best U13 athletes and 48 teams competing, this is the toughest and most prestigious  event of the year.  Theo Cheshire (L4P ) competing for his club retained his national team title, winning the gold medal and finishing individually 17th.

Since competing in the Surrey championships at the start of the year Theo has consistently improved his performances and to finish as one of the top 20 English runners is a tremendous achievement. 

His team also won the U13 Boys team gold medal retaining the national title.
