Freemen's hosted the regional Vex Robototics event, where the pupils build a robot from a pre-purchased pack of easy to build components. VEX IQ (KS3 platform) is a snap-together robotics system designed to offer young students a rich and exciting introduction to the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The system encourages teamwork, problem solving, and leadership for students in Y 7 - 9.
