Jocelyn and Natalia win Junior Duet Shield

Freemen's students win the Junior Duet Shield.

Jocelyn Dunne and Natalia King, winners at the Kingston Festival, were invited to perform in the final Prizewinners' Concert after winning the Junior Duet Shield.  Mayor Councillor Geoff Austin presented the award.  Jocelyn and Natalia also sang in the Festival Choir.

Other pupils took part in the Kingston Festival also gaining excellent places and achievements in their classes:

Alex Pelling - 1st place set song 11 - 13, Isabelle Trubshaw - 1st place musicals 11 - 13, Nadia Buckingham - 2nd place musicals 14 - 17, 1st place folk song 14 - 17, Amy Stainbank - 3rd place set song 15 - 15, Natalia King and Jocelyn Dunne - 1st place duet 14 - 17, Amelie Clowes also took part in 10 and under classes and achieved "Very Good" certificates for her 2 classes. 

Elaine Li came 2nd in the own choice class at Sutton Festival.
