Instruction on instrumental tuition is given on an individual basis by a group of 17 qualified, specialist teachers, who are all experts in their own particular field.

Individual lessons can be arranged in Theory and Musicianship, Composition and Improvisation.

All instrument lessons take place during academic lessons, lunch and break periods and Games lessons. They work on a system of rotation. Only Sixth Form may have lessons fixed in free periods.
