Upper 6 Bethan's Hockey Success

Upper 6th Student Bethan Moncur performed exceptionally in the 2016 National School Games at Loughborough University where her team came a fantastic second overall.

Bethan was selected for this prestigious event alongside her attendance on the Advanced Aprrenticeship in Sporting Excellence course - high performance competitions -  at Lilleshall National Sports Centre every school holiday this year, plus weekly NAGs training at Weybridge. This obviously takes a lot of hard work & commitment as well as many extra hours on top of her already busy week.

"It was a fantastic experience, but a full on weekend," explained Bethan on her success.

Bethan is an extremely hardworking student who is hoping to pursue an Engineering degree at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. Alongside her academic studies she also finds time to play her oboe at grade 8 and is doing her Gold DoE as well as playing & coaching club hockey for Epsom Hockey Club.
