Top performance for the U15A XI

Third place in the county for the determined U15A hockey team

Despite some awful weather the U15A squad played some of their best hockey so far this season. In the group matches we did not concede a goal, due to some excellent keeping by Sarah Irwin, winning against Tiffin School 2 - 0, St. George's 1 - 0 and Rosebery 4 - 0. In the group play-off game we beat Wimbledon High School 3 - 0 and then played Epsom College in the quarter-finals. This was a very close match which we eventually won 1 - 0 with Amy Field scoring in the last minute of the game. Unfortunately we were not so lucky in the semi-finals and lost 1-0 to St. Teresa's School. Reigate Grammar School were the eventual winners.

Overall Amy Field who scored 7 goals said she was really proud of her team perfomances. Congratulations to the whole squad for coming third in the Surrey Tournament.
