An number of Freemen's pupils took part in the Surrey Cross Country Championships at Priory Park, Reigate on Saturday in freezing conditions. Twelve senior students competed on a testing course with outstanding results. The following have all been selected to compete in the next round and will represent Surrey at the South of England competition:

Katie Bunyard 8th

Kiara Valkenburg 7th

Lily Pearson 14th

Theo Cheshire 10th

Kiara Valkenburg who came 7th overall, said afterwards, "it was a great race but my hands are so cold it's hurting my heart!"
