Freemen's hosts successful rugby 7s festival
An action packed day of rugby with over 250 boys participating
On Wednesday 22nd February Freemen's hosted its annual U13 invitational 7s Festival with 24 schools and 288 boys competing. With a new format for the day in line with RFU guidelines, an initial phase of games was followed by schools placed into final groups dependent upon results.
This allowed for six tiers of competition and all schools played seven games. Congratulations to King’s Wimbledon for their consistent performance throughout the day that saw them win the Cup, and to Cranmore, St John Aberdare, Reigate, Feltonfleet & Langley Park for winning their respective competitions.
Thanks also to all schools for the spirit in which they entered the Festival and we look forward to welcoming you back next year.
