After securing a place at ESAA combined events national finals in September,  Adam came 12th out of a field of 40 athletes.  He achieved his goal of a top 15 finish and set PBs in 400m (in which he was the overall winner), hurdles, discus, javelin and shot, and in his overall points total.  The placings were all very close and he very narrowly missed out on a top 10 finish.
