Development Officer

Required as soon as possible

35 hours per week, year round

£25,960 to £29,540 pa inclusive

Applications are invited for the role of Development Officer.  Working closely with the School’s Development Consultant you will initiate ideas and strategies for raising funds for bursaries and outreach and partnership activity and continue to build alumni relations and database for this successful independent school’s ambitious development plan. 

A good working knowledge of MS Office (including databases), together with a good telephone manner, administrative experience, excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer focussed and/or fundraising role are essential.  The successful candidate must be highly organised and able to work on their own initiative. Attendance at fund raising events outside normal working hours will be required.
