The FSA is a registered charity run by parent volunteers. We organise social events throughout the year and aim to encourage parents and families to attend, to ensure a warm welcome into the Freemen’s community.


Our key events for the year include:

  • Freemen's Fireworks - Thursday 6 November 2025, 6.30 - 8.30pm
  • Freemen’s Christmas Fair - Saturday 29 November 2025, 11am - 2pm
  • Freemen's Family Bingo Night - Friday 16 January 2025
  • Freemen's Quiz Night - Friday 27 February 2026, 7 - 10pm
  • Freemen’s Easter Egg Hunt - Friday 20 March 2026, 4 - 5.30pm
  • FSA Summer Ball - Saturday 9 May 2026
  • Freemen’s Summer Festival - Sunday 28 June 2026, 2 - 8pm

Each year group has representatives who form the vital link between parents and school. These Year Reps keep the parents in their year group updated with school events and encourage parents to attend coffee mornings and social evenings. They can be contacted via Classlist.

Second-Hand Uniform Shop

We have a well-stocked second-hand uniform shop run by FSA volunteers. You will find the shop conveniently located onsite in Philip House and it is open at regular intervals. All second-hand uniform is reasonably priced. 

The second-hand uniform shop is open from 11.00am - 12.30pm on the following dates:

Items purchased by the FSA

The strong support of the Freemen’s community means we often raise a large amount of funds for Freemen’s. These funds are used to benefit children at Freemen’s.

This year we have committed to supporting the following projects totalling just under £26,483.20:

  • Indoor Hockey Boards - £7,120 granted
  • Festival Coats £3,300 granted
  • Flood Lights  - £9,000  granted
  • Senior Lego Club - £1,500 as requested
  • Small Games - £600 as requested
  • Table Tennis Table Jnr - £999 as requested
  • Lego Kits Jnr - £3,055.20 as requested
  • Music Recording Equipment - £749 as requested
  • Library Chess - £160 as requested
