A level artists were researching into the ‘artist’s book’ at the V&A art library last week, giving them a fantastic opportunity to look at precious and intriguing works kept in the archives.
Drawing inspiration from the rich variety of decorative arts and crafts in the museum, they will create their own books and use their visit as a starting point for their first A level portfolio project.
To add to the day's experience, they also visited the Tim Walker exhibition Wonderful Things. Walker is a photographer whose fashion fairy tales for this show take their inspiration from the V&A collections.
