National Prep Schools Athletic's Championships
Fantastic performances by all the Freemen's athletes
It's always a great day out at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham and this year was no exception! A significant number of Freemen's pupils had made it through to the National Prep School's Finals which meant an early start and a long drive for all involved.
Fantastic results by all the Freemen's pupils, who were real ambassadors for the school -
B. Hadingham - 4th overall in the 200m, and also ran amazingly in the 100m narrowly missing out a finals place.
Both A. Turner (8th overall) and C. Royle (9th overall) ran brilliantly in the 800m. A tough lane draw in the 4 x 100m relay, led to them also narrowly missing out on a finals place.
In the field events, A. Steere was 9th overall in the Discus and L. Peachey - 11th Triple Jump.
All the girls must be congratulated on their achievements. Well done!
