Congratulations to Lower 4 students E. Taylor and S. Herholdt, who together with their team, won the Team Gym British Championships (Youth Micro Team Challenge) in Newcastle over the weekend. The five girls (between 11 and 14 years) competed on the vault, trampet and tumble track against 10 other teams from around Britain, who had all previously qualified at their respective regional competitions. The competition was extremely close, with less than one point between 1st and 4th place. The girls train at Leatherhead and Dorking Gym club, who had a very successful weekend, with their Junior Team (14 - 17 years) also winning the Gold, and their Primary Team (< 11 years) narrowly missing a medal in 4th place. Well done to all of them!
